Bento #148 and 149

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 1:20 PM
Good morning....

I didn't come up with any idea for bento since last night. So here are the result

Mister J's ~ I find the cheese flower cut-out is cute, isn't it?

mister B's

a little improvisation for miss L
They chose the foodpicks themselves.
Hm..it is noticeable what is their favorite pick, correct?

Inside the box: onigiri, fried SPAM (in triangle shape, coated in whisked egg prior to frying), tamagoyaki with orange paprika, steamed green squash, edamame, apple and strawberries.

this is mine
Remember Kokeshi bento..? Previously I posted the story in here
I borrowed from miss L to make my lunch.

Inside the box: mini onigiri with furikake and edamame. Another orange paprika tamagoyaki with steamed green squash, cherry tomato and purple star sweet potato.

LOVE the purple sweet potato, also the squash!
They are so crunchy.

how do you find the amount of food in the kokeshi, sis? I have to separate the rice and use the kokeshi just for meat & veg, otherwise its not enough. Auntie made a nasi-tim the other day and it fit prefectly (upside-down) in the kokeshi.

@ nomad girl, ah..too little for me, actually. But perhaps it fits the kids nicely. It is a better idea to separate rice in other box while meat and veg (and fruits!)are in kokeshi. But come to think of it, we could end up carrying "rantang" LOL You remember the stainless rantang used by old people, right? LOL!!
