This book is really good! and I get lots of idea from it.
One of them is temari-zushi.
Well, I just quote the description in the book "Temari-zushi or decorated sushi ball, originated in Kyoto" It was fun and relatively easy to do.
First, in a laid-out plastic sheet, put some sliced stingbean pieces and baby corn. Sprinkled with a bit of pink dembu, to create contrast color. Because it is meant for kids, I blanched the vegetables for a minute. Separately, mixed warm rice with furikake and formed a ball. Placed the sushi ball onto the sheet and wrapped it up. Voila! it is that easy...
On the sides, I put some sliced fried chicken and stir-fried of stringbean with baby corn. In the small white box is the dessert, jellied strawberry and mango.
Happy Lunch..!
