Bento 191 Tamago

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 2:42 PM
Hello...

A friend of mine - whom used to work in some Japanese restaurants in the past - taught me how to make a tamago. Whew... not as easy as his words of instruction ...so practice is all I need :)

Put them in a bento

for little B
Inside the box: white steamed rice with furikake; tamago; sauteed bean sprout with yellow and green bell pepper also julienne carrot; strawberries and edamame.

Like the silhouette in tamago, since I used two different kind of eggs and poured them alternately into the square pan.

this is mine
Compare to the other box, I had almost the same thing. Only a cherry tomato was added in... and bigger overall portion of course... \>o</

I seldom have bento for my own, you can see some non charaben bento of mine in here and here. Due to my food option, bento for myself are usually meatless.

Have a great day !

Your tamagoyaki looks perfect, I still need to learn to make it better, I guess I need to buy a real tamagoyaki pan, sigh...
