Bento 164 Christmas Wreath

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 10:24 AM
Hi...
Done this bento during weekend for a belated birthday of a nice sweet pretty friend

She had: Christmas wreath made from boiled broccoli, which each stem stood on boiled chikuwa. Hello Kitty was decorated with nori and kani sheet for her bow. Same sheet used for bow of the wreath.

I was about to decorate the wreath with cut-out cheese pieces. Later on, as time did not permit, I sprinkled the furikake on top of broccoli. Believe that it got the nice festive effect, even better from cheese dots - I think - coz the cheese I have is in mono-tone. I did not add some more salt on veggies since the furikake is a bit salty.

Too bad, I do not have round shape box suited for this bento. The kids have them but they were too small. Ah...I imagine this would be perfect in round shape box. Is it a signal that I should do some more bento-stuff shopping? LOL Anybody want to join along? LOL again
