Hoorraaayyy...this is my 100th bento post! how excited ..:)
Never thought earlier that I will arrive to this number today. I feel thankful for all the tutorials, tips, comments, encouragement and supports received from bento pals. Big hugs for all of you...:b and it is definitely not the end of my journey in bento-making.
I found tree-shaped jelly mould on last week, and I thought it would be a good idea to use it as a container for edamame green rice. I did not intend to use this as rice mould since I imagined the rice will be in awfully mess shape when the kids open their box during lunch time later on.
For decoration, I put boiled mixed vegetables and scattered them around, just like the hanging Christmas tree ornaments, also tiny cheese cuts, black and white sesame seeds. Some kani sheets also put as ribbons. Just to give a cheerful appearance :p Not to forget, of course, a cheese star on top of the tree!
Then..it will not be a Christmas tree without some gifts placed underneath.
I used boiled tofu sandwiches (perfect square shape!) and decorated them with kani's tie and ribbon.
Voila...! merry lunch for the twins...

Christmas tree bento? That's lovely and a perfect fit this Yuletide season. Two thumbs up from me! Also, you might like to try to use a stainless steel tiffin bento container. You can afford having it, and I'm sure you'll love it. Because it has 100% BPA free, made from high quality stainless steel, it's eco-friendly too and durable to boot. You can use it as often as you like.
@ Ara, thank you for your visit and nice comment. You have a lovely blog about tiffin bento container :b
