today's theme of bento was inspired by Poinsettia shrubs.
Wikipedia: The star-shaped leaf pattern is said to symbolize the Star of Bethlehem, and the red color represents the blood sacrifice through the crucifixion of Jesus.[8 |
The dessert was quite tempting for kids, the ready-bought alphabet jelly :b |
In here, Poinsettias are quite popular as Christmas decoration too.
I think I misplaced the buds, should be in the center rather than scattered around the leaves.
Other contents were fried chicken wings and mini mandarin. The rice was green-colored by edamame powder.
I'll make similar-theme bento, with more flowery of Poinsettia, in other chance :p
