Bento #89

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 4:16 PM
Hello...I am back from business trip.
Overall, the trip was fine. Although I experienced one day delay in Taipei, due to Jakarta's airport was closed down, due to ashes from Merapi's volcanic eruption will be a disturbance for  the flights. From Saturday 6th November, there were some canceled flights from several airlines. Apparently situation was not any better in Sunday 7th November. Thus, by the time I had transited on Sunday morning, the airline had announced flight cancellation and rescheduled it on the next morning. Yeah...at least the airline provided excellent service, by giving us free accommodation in nearby airport with 3-times a day meals They even gave a free telephone card for us. I deeply concern over the eruption and pray that refugees are well taken care of.

Well, back to bento. Although I already miss in making one, this morning I chose to make a simple and easy bento for kids.

Underneath the fish-alike egg sheet was the rice mixed with furikake.
The egg sheet was decorated with ketchup. On the side was peeled salak fruits.
I've told you it is an easy and simple bento :b

I've seen photos of everything covered in ash, so scary. Glad you made it home! I really like your ketchup fish detail. I've never had snakeskin fruit before, what does it taste like?

Welcome back Yenny! It's always best to come home and I bet your kids are happy about that too :)
Never heard of snake skin fruit but it's a sweet pair of bento.
