Bento #79 Green Day

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 10:19 AM
Happy Monday...!

This morning I encouraged myself to make egg sheet again....and still not satisfied with the result *hiks* I made green egg sheet, by giving two drops of light green food coloring to whisked egg before strained it. I thought have set the fire to the minimum...oh, well...I still believe practice makes perfect!

Underneath the green sheet is the steamed white rice. On top, there were kamaboko butterfly and sausage ladybug, also some carrot flowers. The trail from butterfly was made from black sesame seeds. In red cup, I put some sliced kiwi.

@ Lia Chen, *sigh with a smile* It was quite tricky to make the butterfly un-flat. Thank you for your compliment, Lia

Sis, I know what's the next theme with this green egg sheet...you can make a tortoise bento! or turtle or crocodile...
