Bento #68 Maki sushi

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 11:51 AM
Today's lunch is maki sushi for twins.
I bought a large nori sheet and cut by myself, thus I didn't get equally same sizes for sushi. I used usual white steamed rice (not special sushi rice) and first mixed it with furikake while it still warm. Then shaped it in oval before wrapped it with nori. Deliberately leaving some upper space of rolls to put scrambled egg, vegetable with mayo, and boiled sausage pieces. Added in box were sliced papaya and grapes (both in separate cups), also some jellies, edamame and remaining sausages in skewers. I did not include any bottled soy sauce, since I have tasted the rice was flavoured (read as: salty) enough

Love how you skewered the sausages and the endamame together!

Happy Mid Autumn to you and yours!
