It has been three days -not in a row- that I have visited Interpack. Well, do not ask me how it felt. The fair ground is so huge. They said it is the biggest fair ever and this year marked their 50th anniversary. It just killed my legs and my back in circling the fair. Thank God this time I am carrying my laptop bag in wheel. Otherwise, I will break my shoulder and arms too! As a matter of fact, there are some deposit counters, where we can put our coats, bags and luggages-any sizeduring visit. Lufthansa is even providing quick check-in counters. 
It consists about 19 halls and the hall is classified according to industries, such as confectionery, food, non food, packaging, pharmaceuticals,etc. Buses are available in taking visitors from one hall to another. By open air, there are food stalls, supermarket even a florist 
. With such a grand location, I still felt the crowds. I heard the participants are about 106 countries and expected close to 200,000 visitors with 65% are from within Europe.
We started in hall 9 and continued to nearby halls. They are for packaging supplies. I have found some big names in this industries that I aware of. I also met our competitor's booth in one hall. Well, many interesting machines and advance technologies were displayed in, including robotic system for some applications, which I believe Germany is very good in manufacturing such kinds.
In hall 1-6 (if I am correct), the halls are for food processing with machines of chocolate making, biscuits, sweets, snacks, coffee and numerous of others including polycarbonate trays. Now I know about machine for praline, wafer container, chewing gum, pizza. Well, there are lot of others which I do not mention in here. However, instantly after entering those halls, my brain said "I smell food!" and the smell seduced me. Under such condition, my superior was shaking his head and telling me he can't believe the fact that I am more interested into the foods than the machines
