Welcoming November ...
And this month we shall have many celebrations, for friends' weddings and birthdays of in-laws and nephew. So, you can imagine that we shall spend most of our weekends in parties... Yay..!
Alrite...stop that thinking for a while.
This is today's bento for kids
For both red and blue boxes, I made each of two onigiries. One covered with vegetable furikake and another one covered with chicken floss. Between them, I put a rose from peeled tomato. I also included blanched broccoli, star carrot, onion rings and grapes. To sweeten the look, I placed flower yellow-white cheddar on top of broccoli.
I did not put anything as glue to warm round onigiri. In a separate bowl filled with enough furikake or chicken floss, dropped the onigiri, use a teaspoon to roll and 'shower' it on.
Ow yes, tapped it gently and done!
Hm...I wonder what the twins may think about the rose tomato.
Will they try to eat it?
I will find out soon {^.^}

Your ROSE tomatoes are so pretty and great work. I am sure your twins will like it. I love the yummy looking onigiris too :)
