Bento 207 with purple sweet potato

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 1:58 PM
I have been experimenting with purple sweet potato (ubi ungu).
My family love it so much but I kinda bored to have it always by steamed.
So, I made a pudding.

The making is so simple.
Just peel and cut one purple sweet potato in small pieces before to blend them with 400 ml of milk until smooth creamy.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan and add for another 400 ml of milk, jelly powder and sugar as wish. Bring it to boil with occasional stirring.
Put into cups. Refrigerate until firm and ready to serve.

I included this into their bento for healthy dessert.

He had bear pudding, in matched with the yellow chilli sauce cup.
Yes, he started to enjoy chili sauce so much lately.
Other foods in his box are pieces of cheese pizza (from last night's dinner), homemade chicken nugget, blanched broccoli, carved carrot flower and some edamame (unseen)

She had the same menu.
I made a different shape of pudding, a Hello Kitty face and a flower. I put the ketchup into Hello Kitty sauce cup, for girly touch.
She mentioned that one of her friends like to have her edamame during lunchtime. So, after picture taking, I add some more of unpeeled edamame for lunch sharing.

here is for closer look
I find HK is always adorable ... :)

Once again, he had the same menu with his siblings, only in smaller portion.
The orange cup contained ketchup.

I love the color composition of their lunches today.

Well, I still have lots of it

Would you like some?
