Bento 205 chicken nugget

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 3:20 PM
Quite a long time that I didn't cook chicken nugget.
Of course it can be purchased in store, but I enjoy making it.

It is quite easy to do. Just evenly mix the ground meat with whisked egg, bread crumb (for crunchiness) salt, pepper....and without any measurement too. Haha! I usually add-in some grated carrots or broccoli or any other veggie that is available. Put the mixture in a tin pan and steam it. Once it cools down, I cut as wish and pan fried a few seconds prior serving.
My kids don't have an issue, but I still love to have veggie sneak-in, just to have a healthier version.

mister J's
He had nuggets, green squash, steamed corn, strawberry, halved quail egg, flower carrots and zucchini on top of white rice.

miss L's
She had Hello Kitty rice (finally...) nuggets, green squash, cherry tomato with zucchini sliced and strawberry.
The kitty has boiled halved-quail egg for both ears, carrot bow, corn nose and nori eyes/whiskers.

Can you spot the grated carrot in the nuggets?

A couple days ago, I had a date with Lia, a cool and talented bento pal.
She is in hiatus now for bento making but she will be back soon :)
...and look what she gave me...

surprise...!
mint choco chip cookies...!
Yay...! Isn't she sweet?
Inside the box: Chewy mint choco chip cookies...
They tasted and looked so good, with adorable wax paper and individual transparent wrap of Paris' road map.

It is heaven...for my sweet tooth
thanks so much...{^.^}...

Have a great weekend all :b
