Bento 175

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 1:06 PM
Kids are recovering from their illness. Their high fever only lasted for 2 days (Thank God for that!) but they still cough frequently. I made herbal drink made from grated ginger and honey, to soothe them.

This is the bento for today

Inside the box: Kongbap, chicken cordon bleu, stir-fry red pepper bell with mushrooms, quail eggs, cherries and an apple.

It was my first time to do cordon bleu and I didn't pound it. No wonder it looks ... eerr.. fat *well, I did pound it....ehm, twice. Pom! Pom! that's it ... done....* And the fried quail eggs were not as smooth as I expected. Will practice in some other time.

Happy weekend everyone...
I am trying to stay out from rain  :)

Yenny, it looks good even without pounding the chicken lol. I love chicken cordon bleu. There is a quick way to cook that my hubby experimented. He used deli meat;the chicken and ham which are thinner and cooks quicker. I of course have to have the bacon added( not healthy but I love it)!

This bento looks very tasty, I love everything inside the box :)!! This bento reminds me that I still have a packet of kongbap which I still need to use!
