Bento 173 plum blossom

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 11:45 AM
It is Friday again .... yay...

Last night I cooked pan fried salmon pieces. It dipped in whisked egg, fine bread crumb, back to the egg again and finally to white sesame seeds. For taste, rubbed salmon with salt-pepper prior to dipping and sprinkled some in crumb too.

They smells good .. using my new pan... and few drops of cooking oil only.
hm..they burnt a little bit ...must be from leaving them while washing black rice.
But they tasted good. Juicy tender inside while crunchy on the outside.

Here is the bento

Inside the box: sweet black rice, ladybug sausage, white sesame fried salmon, sauteed baby green bean with shiitake, plum blossom hanpen, strawberry and mini lemon wedge.

Somebody mentioned ladybug on yesterday and made me want to do one. Yeah, I missed its tentacle and black dots. Will improve it in later making  {^.^}

Love the plum blossom that gave contrast to the rice. I made them from cheese-stuffed hanpen that my sister brought me .

My early Chinese New Year spirit pushed me to do it....

Have a great weekend everyone.
