Handsome bear in tuxedo |
Lately, I have been attending several wedding parties of an old school friend and work colleague within last week. Well, and I will still have one upcoming wedding party by end of month. Those parties are the inspiration for today's bento.
I made the bear with help of cylinder rice mould, then lightly cover middle part with nori sheet. The face part decorated by smoked chicken sheet and nori cut-outs, while the black suit decorated with bow-tie and tiny buttons, all done by kani punch-outs. I assumed the ears were too small, but considering the size of his 'face', I let them be.
Beside the bear, the twins were also having buttered stir-fried baby corn with asparagus in silicon round cup, boiled tofu sandwich (frozen bought), hash brown in plastic square cup, cherry grapes and tomato. I accidentally tore the hash brown during cooking, ouch..!
The above box was prepared for Jovann, with all stuff inside are his favorites, from blue color cups and an elephant food pick! I did not take a photograph of another box of her, which is in the same theme but all in pink. Yeay...
