Bento #33 triplets onigiri

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 4:43 PM

This morning, just challenge myself to make onigiri.
Yeay, not as simple as I thought but not as complicated as I imagined.

The yellow color is done by adding turmeric powder to white rice, while the brown color I get it from sweet soy sauce.
In the future, I should mix rice with chopped scrambled egg instead of turmeric, if I will do it again for kids' box to avoid strong smell and taste.

Underneath broccoli-fence, I put some chikuwa, just to help the vegetable to stand upright.

Have a nice weekend!
