bento #25 - 27

So busy since last week caused by office reports.
Although made daily box, I hardly find time to post them until now.

Here we go

#25 inari sushi


hm, unintentionally found the tofu envelope inari in a supermarket during weekend.
Just fill the pocket with cooked rice mixed with toasted sesame seeds
I also tried dried wakame. Softened by dipped them into boiling water. Later chopped and mixed them with cucumber, sprinkled with salt and sesame seeds to taste.
Should use suitable soy bottle. The yellow-head bottle is meant for furikake.
Hubby said the soy sauce was spoiling his box...ouch..

School days will be coming by next week and I am practicing using their new box.

I was trying a new recipe, potato salad (in blue cup) and using new cutters for zucchini
(yes, finally grabbed zucchini after last experience with local cucumber)
I crushed boiled potato mixed together with frozen vegetables, added thin-sliced zucchini and mayo. It was delicious. If I will do it again for kids' box, I should put mayo in separate cup.

...aaahhh, love my new vegetable cutters...
