Hello, there....
Hope you had a good weekend. We had long weekend, due to public holiday on last Thursday, some people took Friday as an off day. It wasn't including myself :p
Then on last Saturday, some close friends and old folks visited us for a cooking party. Yeay! Tired but excited, we had a wonderful time! Well, I missed a lady due to her work on that day, so I made this for her.
Inside the box: steamed star-carrots on top of white rice, steamed broccoli, panko-fried chicken strips, cute quail egg, strawberries, lemons, blueberry bear-jellies and an apple piece underneath the jellies.
Too bad the jellies didn't show clearly in picture :)
That was a quick preparation, believe me.
I have made those jellies in previous night. In the morning, I had done with broccoli, carrots and quail eggs for the party.
So, I just "stole" some of the items to assemble this bento. LOL. The Extra things to do were only frying the chicken, punching carrots and washing fruits. That's all :D
I seldom use food picks lately, but this yellow bow made the egg prettier, don't you think?
The face, as usual, done with punched-out nori and dabs of ketchup.
So sweet of her husband to be a 'delivery man' and it's my pleasure to hear she enjoyed my bento.
