Bento #116

Posted by Journal Mommy Yenny at 10:04 AM

I am confused in picking the theme of today's bento. I was lucky enough to finish my work quite early last night and made tamagoyaki. Haaa...still need some practices! Also, I searched high and low for my sushi-mat, to tight-wrapped before sliced tamagoyaki. Sigh. Perhaps one of cuties had played with and misplaced it. Then I pan-fried the hash brown and boiled heart-sausages.

This morning, I made inarizushi, add everything else inside the box, also for cherry tomatoes and lemon sliced. When Mr. J took-a-peek, he said "mom, could you put some eyes and mouths so I can have a bear?" That was a nice request, kiddo, but all of you had eaten up mommy's nori and cheddar sheets. Thus I quickly placed some sesame seeds on, just in time for school bus' arrival to pick them up. Those inarizushi didn't turn into bears exactly but I got  Mr. J's big smile for sure!

Have a nice day ...
