Little twin star, one of some cute Sanrio characters. I used to adore them during elementary school.
I don't think now my twins know them yet :)
The figures were made from egg sheets. I separated the yolk and white to get yellow sheet for their hair and white sheet for their face. The red shirts were made from kani. Added the nori punched-out for eyes and mouth. Kiki and Lala laid on top of sweet soy-sauce rice, just perfect to give the color contrast from their faces. In food cup, there was sauteed leafy vegetable with ham and sausages pieces.

The true challenge was to cut the edges of their hair. It was a good time to use my new bento tools :) found in Daisho during last weekend. Beside regular knife, for hair I used U-shape cutter while V-shape cutter used for kani sheet, to shape the collar. Yeay, they really useful in saving my time .... and energy. LOL

Little Twin Stars is my sister's favorite too because she has twins. Is that a trend? LOL :D Got those cutting pens too. Did you get the blue one? That one is good to cut egg sheet ;)
